Today, I had sent my van to the workshop for repairing in the morning. Later on, I meet up with my pi to go to work together. We were going to take MRT to our working place.
Normally, I would use cash to pay for the MRT and bus fares. But my pi had suggested that i should buy an ez-link card, which is more convenient and is suppose to be much cheaper. To my surprise, i had paid $15 for the card, while $7 is the card value, $3 is for deposit and $5 is for card cost (non-refundable). I had felt that it is not much worth it after all.
Around evening time, we had called up each other and were talking about going home together after work. Soon i knock off from my work at 9pm, i took a bus 190 to meet up with my pi at her work place. Later on, my pi and mi walked towards a bus stop and took a bus 16 to her sister's place to collect things from her.
Usually, I would drive and fetch my pi. We would seldom have the time while travelling, since I'm always the driver. During the bus ride, we chat a lot and enjoy our moments together. It is a sweet occasion as we could get closer together. Moreover, I don't have to worry about ERP, finding parking space, summons, jams, etc.
At her sister's place, we stop and had our dinner at a nearby hawker centre. Afterwards, we were heading home and took a bus 30 to Bedok. We were chatting and holding hands together along the way. It's is a happy moment for my pipi and mi.
When we arrived at Bedok, it was late and i walked with my pi to send her home. Thereafter, i manage to catch the last bus 228 back to my home. Although the bus rides may appear to be time constrain, but it is worth to spend time with my lovely pi. It's is a wonderful night i had.

No More Free Cover & Drinks For Ladies Age Above 35
On a Wednesday night, my Pi & her friends happened to go for clubbing. It is a "Ladies Night" for almost all club house in Singapore. The club suppose to dedicate free cover charge and drinks for all ladies on "Ladies Night". But my pi & her friends had found out that the privileges had been changed under circumstances.
The club has no longer provide free drinks for ladies who are age above 35. According to her friend observation, ladies who are age above 35, they will need to pay for per entry cover charge and the drinks in house. These changes had affected and disappointed the ladies, especially for those who are age over 35.
Meanwhile, in the club, many ladies who are age above 35 were annoyed and piss off. They demand an explanations from the management regard of such changes. These ladies claim that the "Ladies Night" free drinks were suppose to be carter for all ladies, no matter her age. The ladies argue that it was totally unfair to them and it had bought them to no differences between the ladies and gents.
Many incidents had occurred, some ladies were too upset and made a big fuss at the ladies drinks collection's bar counter. While there were ladies quarrelling with the bartender and some had just ignore the bartender by continuing to collect the free drinks. It had became an embarrassing and unpleasant night for these ladies.
However, my pi said that it doesn't concern her for now. But er... hopefully things will change again in future.

MapleSea Hacking Issue is getting out of hand
There are so many forum and posts regarding the hacking issues in MapleSea. It has been a month + since the hacker thing have been going on. There are Hackers steal gamers' currency in MapleStory and players blame AsiaSoft for lax security.
Many players had lost millions or even billions of Messos in Maplestory, some with their 'A' Cash ( real money ) and equipments stolen too. Players had spent real money 'A' Cash into MapleStory to buy more powers or weapons for their characters - so they can progress to higher levels of the game - as well as more mundane items like stylish clothes.
Many accounts were hacked and 'A' Cash were stolen. We had believe that the Asiasoft's servers were hacked into, and many players are charging that the company did not provide them with adequate protection. Worse, Asiasoft has not compensated them for their losses.
Many gamers called The Straits Times to complain about being shortchanged and some gamers had organised to file a police report about this issue. We had experienced that the hacking began last month somewhere in August, and is still continuing till today. I believe hundreds of accounts have been hacked into so far. Every single day, I hear of accounts being hacked into.
However, AsiaSoft seems to push the blame away to the players such as playing the game in cybercafes, whose computers are notorious for hosting Trojans which can log passwords and the like - are responsible for their losses. The recent hacking cases are nothing like what we've seen before. Players who have never logged into their accounts in cybercafes, or given away passwords, or visited malicious websites, have been hacked. Many gamers agreed, saying they are all savvy adults who know how to protect themselves online. Meanwhile, AsiaSoft says such hacking incidents for online multi-player games are fairly common, and that users should be vigilant.
AsiaSoft added that it has taken action to combat the hacking, which it says originated in China, by increasing the number of firewalls for game servers. It has also advised gamers to change their login passwords on a regular basis. But players will not be compensated for their losses which "A" Cash that was stolen from hackers. It's seem that Asiasoft is unlikely to restore the accounts in full or return the virtual cash. However, they are said to be trying to work out a compensation package.
So far, the police are investigating, but lawyers say this may bring scant relief to victims. The actions of the Singapore police are limited to this country, they say, and it is difficult to prosecute online criminals across jurisdictions.
Till today, I still hear accounts being hacked. Even with the recently game patches and security firewall measurement taken by AsiaSoft, it's has proven that it is useless against hackers. It is really getting out of hand. I felt that AsiaSoft had react too slow to deal with this situation. They should also be part of responsibility to solve this hacking issue as soon as possible to prevent any further accounts and 'A' Cash being stolen.

Yeah, today my pi n mi got 2 present from the UFO Catcher at Bugis. Both are baby mickey soft toy, very very cute. Ha ha, we just spend a total $15 to catch it.

ERP Charges cause confusions
I had received a letter of notice regarding Non- payment of ERP charge from LTA.
I will pass through this particular ERP gantry at Havelock Road/CTE exit almost everyday. Normally, i realised that the pricing is around $1.00 to $1.50. To my surprise, i was shock when my IU did not deduct after i had passed through the gantry on 5 May 2008 at 06:05PM. My cashcard was $1.95 at that moment. I was unaware that the pricing after 6PM is $2.00 until i received the letter of notice.
Presently, with so many ERP gantries, different timing with different charges, it will cause misleading and confusions to drivers. I believe we as a driver, already have more than enough stress to pay attention and to keep a look out on the roads.

Tourist making fun of trishaw rider
I was passing by along the street at Chinatown and happen to overheard a trishaw rider trying to catch a deal with a group of European girls tourist.
These was the conversations between the trishaw rider and the 3 European girls ( tourist )
Rider : "Hi, where you girls wanna go ? I can take you anywhere. "
1 of the girls reply : "Oh, Night Safari. ha ha ha... "
From the look of the trishaw rider, he was upset and remain silent while the tourist girls were walking and laughing away.
Seem like the tourist already knew about the distance between Chinatown and Night Safari, they just wanna tease him. Well.... look like the trishaw rider had a hard time earning a living.
