President Bush made an unannounced farewell trip to Iraq on Sunday. He and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki signed a ceremonial copy of a U.S.-Iraq security agreement.
A Iraqi journalist thrown shoes at President George W. Bush during a news conference with Iraq Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, in Baghdad. The man threw two shoes at Bush, one after another. Bush ducked both throws, and neither man was hit.
The journalist who flung a pair of shoes at Bush is a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television in Iraq. Later, the president joked the shoes were a size 10. Bush got a size 10 reminder of his unpopularity which defines his presidency with the war invading Iraq in 2003.
Aww... unfortunately the shoes missed his face, lol. However, bush really deserves this.
